To defy definition.
What can we expect from

"The banal reality has become aesthetic. Art was a form, and then it increasingly became not a form, but a value, an aesthetic value, and so we move from art to aesthetics ... As art becomes aesthetic, it joins reality, it joins the banality of reality. Every reality becomes aesthetic too, and so it is a total confusion between art and reality. " - Jean Baudrillard

As a means of message and a tool in setting statements of concepts, aesthetics is the strength in collective thinking. In our Western culture, shaped by data and consumption, this awareness has become almost an institution for sale. Connected by the internet, among an abundance of images, it comes to the excesses of perfection, which has generated its own antithesis.

The possibility that the network brought of telling real stories has been replaced by the projected world. The spontaneous pictures taken from a cell phone, manipulated and exhibited, shifts the real to fiction. In this hyper-reality, we have reached the limits of images, without even being able to recognize the identities behind them.

IT WAS THE MARGINALIZED CULTURES THAT PROVOKED A MORE SENSITIVE VIEW,

which stands in a very authentic way when compared to the old order of knowledge, territorialism, ancestry, gender and art. If, throughout history, the image has, for a long time, been oriented and particularized, it was in the middle of the explosion of different bodies, languages and signs that realities, rather neglected, caused a transformation.

These changes design a new political and social approach to these subjects, but most importantly, it creates a collective subjective transformation.

The marginalized body, without the necessity of generating trust, assumes a distinct singularity. As the artist @ arca1000000 claimed in an interview with Frieze, "As these cultures become increasingly popular in acceptance, they have also reached a sanitized version to the world", and that is the reason why to keep a subversion is necessary. What seems strange is the density of a culture that is present without having a purpose. It is just a symbol.

THE FUTURE IS BORN FROM THE COLLECTIVE AWARENESS,

which is inseparable from the connections that societies have with their shared histories and values. The creators of these new aesthetics are restoring a tool of infinite power: the image.

Aesthetics is the transformation force of sensitiveness, which is renewed from people, plans and ideas. Nowadays, there is a series of studies being started on the density of this phenomenon. Among its historical and social aspects, we will pursue the purpose of reading the new scenarios and understanding those that shape the future.
