Afropunk is the most important festival dedicated to black culture in the world and has its roots in Afrofuturism, a specific aesthetic, and also a social and cultural movement that proposes to discuss the future, present, and past, through the black culture perspective. The film presented the festival that came to Brazil for the first time sponsored by Banco Bradesco. All the characters were selected for their artistic expressions and their lifestyle that represent and speak to the values of Afropunk and the Afro-Futurist movement.
